RS232/RS485 switchable interface, SMA, with attached IO Interface. I2-IOM can operate on one of two modes, Modbus or Wire Replacement. In Modbus mode, the slave radio connects to an I/O signal in a SCADA network. In Wire Replacement mode, the I2-IOM operates as a master liked to I2-IOS slave radios for transport and reconstruction of analog, digital and power signals, eliminating the need for associated buried wiring (PLC requires no altered programming). As Wire Replacement you can have up to 4 slave radios for each master. In a Modbus network you can have up to 65, 535 slaves in a network.
